To empower the lives of our families by providing services to strenthen their educational enrichment, health, financial literacy, and emotional wellbeing thorough community partnerships and outreach programs.
Families of students referred through the Hickman Mills School District, McKinney Vento liaison will be able to meet with agencies regarding housing, IDs/birth certificates, employment, healthcare, mental health, childcare, emergency relief, and other services on a regular basis.
Project Wisdom is a collaboration between the courts and LIFT Inc. to provide classes that help participants understand the consequences of their actions, and to learn more effective ways to deal with problems. We have classes on shoplifting, anger management, and substance abuse.
We partner with Harvesters to provide a wide variety of food items including meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, and baked goods to those in our community who have need. We also provide household items, toiletries, children’s supplies, and food for people with restricted diets while supplies last.
Our goal is to provide high quality clothes for people of all ages to feel comfortable and confident in their daily lives. We primarily work with warehouses and department stores to supply new clothing. Due to health & sanitary requirements, individual clothing donations are not accepted without prior approval.
